What will the future of Art look like? The world of Visual Arts is a very different place than it was one year ago much less a decade ago. Technology speeds up every aspect from artwork creation, marketing and selling, to viewer enjoyment.With so many challenges, what is an artist to do? Artists are forced to adapt, learn new techniques, and keep current or be forced into obscurity.

Vessel rises from the earth, linking the past to the present and ancient Ireland to the modern-day Ireland of today. Sandra Bell is pleased to present the elegant Vessel to the community of Dublin and the Marlet Property Group. On Friday, August 30 2024, the sculpture was installed at Grand Canal Quay in Dublin 8, Ireland.

The commission for Applegreen is now receiving its finishing touches. “Ambrose” is a cast aluminum sculpture standing 1500mm in height. This piece was 3-D scanned and modified in CAD, enlarged and printed in foam then cast in aluminum. Applegreen is proud to be an Irish company and a true Irish success story. From humble beginnings in 1992, Applegreen started with the opening of our first service station in Ballyfermot, West Dublin.

A special unveiling of “Nuture” by Irish An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar was held this evening at Alexandra College in Dublin, Ireland.

“Nurture” by the Irish artist Sandra Bell was installed for Alexandra College Dublin, Ireland. The sculpture represents a teacher and a student holding a book - the essence of learning. Sandra is proud to honor teachers in her art, they provide a living, growing resource of stories to share, celebrate, and remind us of the positive difference teachers can make.

Purchased by Wetherspoons for the new Silver Penny restaurant in Abbey Street Lower Dublin, St. Brigid’s Robe is a painted and mirror polished Cast Bronze sculpture.

Press Release for Teachers Inspire Commission: Sandra Bell, one of Ireland’s best-known contemporary sculptors, has been commissioned by Dublin City University (DCU) to create a significant new public sculpture inspired by the work of teachers.  

Dundalk sculptor Sandra Bell is exhibiting her exciting new series of highly polished Cast Bronze and Stainless Steel abstract sculptures in the Oriel Gallery, 17 Clare Street, Dublin 2 for their 50th Anniversary exhibition featuring works by Markey Robinson, Jack B. Yeates, Paul Henry and Percy French among others.

Sculptor Sandra Bell exhibits at Bloom in Phoenix Park from 31st. May – 4th June. Sandra, a Dundalk artist, has been exhibiting with the Sculpture Gallery at Bloom since its conception and this year she is exhibiting a new series of highly polished Stainless Steel garden sculptures.
