Sandra Bell makes Sculpture
in Cast Bronze and Fabricated Metal.
Contemporary Interior and Monumental Sculpture made with
Sustainable Processes and Materials.

From Irish Celtic to Classical sculpture, Sandra Bell's meditations on the human form are unique interactive artworks of curvaceous abstractions. With +30 years in cast bronze and fabricated metal sculpture, Sandra Bell has been awarded over 30 commissions in Ireland for public and private collections worldwide.

The themes of ‘Harmony’ and ‘Balance’ are predominant in her sculpture. The simple lines are challenging, creating large spaces which allow a play of light throughout the sculptures. The smooth surfaces and soft curves captivate and entice viewers to interact with these living uncomplicated shapes.

Teachers Inspire

The project was created to
honour the teachers
.

It has given Sandra Bell a great pleasure to create Teachers Inspire a sculpture cast in bronze, commissioned by Dublin City University and generously sponsored by Mr. Dermot Desmond, to honour our teachers and acknowledge their dedication and the great work that they do.

Anam Cara

This is the first time a sculpture has been sized up in a biodegradable polymer for Bronze casting in Ireland.

Anam Cara  Cast Bronze commissioned  for a private residence in Dublin.

Using new technology the maquette was sized up to 3500mm in 6ml PLA, a biodegradable polymer. The full sized model as seen here was approved by the client before casting into bronze.

Unity

This monumental sculpture emerges from the Cherrywood landscape as a way finder, welcoming and reflecting life as it passes by.

Cherrywood Business Park. South Dublin. Commissioned by Spear Street Capital. Project managed by Hines Stainless Steel 9 meters high. Unity features mirror designs based on the ancient Rathdown Slabs.

This stainless Steel sculpture is Interactive and extravagantly curvaceous, raising our spirits and bringing a sense of place to Cherrywood. Unity soars to the sky, its iconic presence the essence of its being.

The pleasure and enjoyment in connecting with people through the creation of my sculpture delights me. I lose myself in my work and explore my inner feelings in a quiet and meditative place. I love that others viewing my sculpture may share part of my experience and find meaning and relevance in the work that I do.

I’m always open to collaborate.
